β˜€οΈπŸ“šπŸ What a busy and exciting week! πŸπŸ“šβ˜€οΈ

In Maths, we have been learning all about time, focusing on reading and recognising o’clock times. ⏰

In English, the children wrote some wonderful poems inspired by their summer senses, using lots of fantastic descriptive language. πŸŒΌβ˜€οΈπŸ‘ƒ

We also took part in a cricket workshop, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. If your child is interested in developing their cricket skills, training for this age group takes place on Mondays at 5.30pm at Nawton Cricket Ground. 🏏

Despite the warm weather, the children have coped brilliantly with the heat. We used it as a great learning opportunity to discuss sun safety, and the children designed informative posters highlighting the key ways to stay safe in the sun. They did a fantastic job! πŸŒžπŸ§’πŸ’§

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

πŸŒžπŸ… What a fantastic Sports Day! πŸ…πŸŒž

We were lucky to enjoy beautiful weather, and the children were incredible throughout the day, showing outstanding teamwork, determination, and support for one another. It was wonderful to see so much encouragement, sportsmanship, and school spirit on display. 🌟

A huge congratulations to Eagles (Green Team), who finished the day with the highest number of points and were crowned our Sports Day champions! πŸ’šπŸ¦…

Well done to every child who took part – you all made us proud! πŸ‘
