βοΈππ What a busy and exciting week! ππβοΈ
In Maths, we have been learning all about time, focusing on reading and recognising oβclock times. β°
In English, the children wrote some wonderful poems inspired by their summer senses, using lots of fantastic descriptive language. πΌβοΈπ
We also took part in a cricket workshop, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. If your child is interested in developing their cricket skills, training for this age group takes place on Mondays at 5.30pm at Nawton Cricket Ground. π
Despite the warm weather, the children have coped brilliantly with the heat. We used it as a great learning opportunity to discuss sun safety, and the children designed informative posters highlighting the key ways to stay safe in the sun. They did a fantastic job! ππ§’π§
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

A huge congratulations to Eagles (Green Team), who finished the day with the highest number of points and were crowned our Sports Day champions! ππ¦
Well done to every child who took part β you all made us proud! π
