Day Layout

 

Session Times

Our day is divided into three sessions:

Morning: 8:30 – 11:45

Lunch: 11:45 – 12:15

Afternoon: 12:15 – 3:15

We also offer a Breakfast Club every weekday from 7:45 – 8:45am.

Start of the Day

Our gates open at 8:30am, with Nursery starting promptly at 8:45am.
Children are dropped off and collected via the EYFS gate at the rear of the school.
For safety, the playground gate remains locked until doors open to prevent unsupervised play.

End of the Day

The school day finishes at 3:15pm.
Children are collected from the EYFS entrance at the rear of the school, accessed via the car park.
The playground gate remains locked until collection time for safety.

Snack Time

Children enjoy a healthy snack each morning and afternoon, with choices of fruit, milk, or water.
Adults support children in preparing their snacks independently. Snack contributions are 45p per day, paid via ParentPay (optional).

Lunch

Children may bring a packed lunch or have a school dinner, which is paid for through ParentPay.
Weekly menus are shared in the Friday school newsletter.
Meals are served in Pre-School, where staff and children eat together to encourage positive social routines.

Settling In

We want every child to feel happy, safe, and confident from their very first day.
Our staff work closely with families to create a smooth transition and help each child settle comfortably into nursery life.
